In case you have an active email address, you must certainly have come across the famous "419 Nigerian scam". This scam, basely almost totally on West African countries (but becoming increasingly common in Europe, especially in Amsterdam and London), works like this: 1- The scammer presents himself (or herself) to the victim, stating that he has a huge ammount of money, from which the victim would benefit a nice cut from. 2- After creating some false documents, and gaining the victim's trust, the scammer states that to get the money the victim must pay a "small" fee (usually around the few thousand dollars).
